That is the way it is supposed to work. IF you are talking about the Auxillary Start switch. If you are talking about the battery disconnect solenoid switch, the switch may be bad or it can be the solenoid. Some testing will tell which one. IF you need help with that please get back to me.

i am not talking about the auxiliary start switch, labeled mode switch in my rig. Im talking about the the battery solenoid switch with the labeling Aux Battery when i select on i can hear the solenoid. When I release the switch it springs back to a
neutral position and I can hear the solenoid switch again. The same thing happens when I select off

So the solenoid clicks but it stays on? When that happens either the solenoid is bad or the fuses on the solenoid may be blown. Did you check those?

Customer: replied 3 months ago.
i checked them the left side was bad. I replaced it Think ill check it again

Are you referring to the switch or the solenoid?
