I'm currently having problems with my RV water pump system.

Customer Question

Hi! I'm currently having problems with my RV water pump system.
JA: Has the vehicle ever overheated? And when was it last serviced?
Customer: It's actually just a tow behind trailer. I am not having problems with any mechanical issues.
JA: What is the model/year of your RV?
Customer: It's a 2008 Prowler
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I've replaced the pump and went over all the connections that are externally visible.
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: I think that somehow the pump is sucking air from the freshwater tank.

Check to see if the filter is cracked. It is probably that or the pump is damaged from freezing OR it may just have sucked up some plastic debris out of the tank if you don't have a filter. That can be taken apart and cleaned up with compressed air. IF you need more on this please get back to me and I can assist you futher as all follow ups are included in our fee.
