Customer Question

We do not have DC power. AC power going in bit no DC coming out
JA: Have you checked the Freon level? Have you checked the hoses?
Customer: ?? I don't believe freon have anything to do with electricity
JA: What is the model/year of your RV?
Customer: 2007 Keystone. Cougar
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: O have opened the panel, pulled the converter out and check voltage going in and coming out. I have 120 AC going in and no DC coming out. Is there a reset button. All of the fuses ohm out fine
JA: Anything else you think the mechanic should know?
Customer: Not that I can think of
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the RV Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

There is no reset button on a converter.

If you have 120V in, but no 12V out, and the fuses are good, it means the converter is bad.
