Usually a bolt or shear pin allows the one end to not be tracking correctly. Look underneath on that arm and see if you can see a bolt missing in the cross shaft. On a shear pin issue, it is harder to determine but sometimes you can see the shaft move and the gear lags behind. Those would be the two most common causes of this (depending on the make of your slide hardware) On some hydraulic units it is a problem with the valve that controls the racking of the room.
