how do you remove the drive leg on atwood heavy duty 5th wheel landing gear

The connection shaft has to come off and then the two bolt that hold the leg into the frame have to be removed. And the motor disconnected. Sometimes, it is easier to come out the top and sometimes it has to come out the bottom. Once you get it out you can change out the gears or if the bearing block is stripped, you have to buy a new leg. Hope that proves helpful here.
