Customer Question

I have a 2010 Damon Avanti with an Atwood water heater. After I had it de-winterized, the water does not get hot. It only gets warm?
How can I increase the water temperature?

Check the winterizing valve(s) as it sounds like it is still in the winterizing position and that allows mixing of the hot and cold water. Usually on the rear of the water heater and may be one, two or three valves UNLESS you have a single winterizing valve. That should correct this. Please get back to me if you need additiona input from me on this as all follow ups are included in our fee.

I have three valves and all three are in the open position.

The one in the center which connects the cold and hot lines needs to be closed.

I am not with my RV until later. I will try closing the center valve and see if that corrects the problem.
Thanks...
