Customer Question

I have a 2005 Winni Vectra with self leveling HWH system. I am trying to understand how to release air from the air bags in order to gain access to a low garage door height.

When the coach is started it appears to add air to the bags. Is there a way to keep this from happening for 30 seconds +/- while I pull out of a garage or back into one? I know the only way to dump the air is through the HWH control panel. If the air is allowed to completely exit, the coach is much much lower than nominal. I only need to get approximately 1.5" of reduced travel height, not 3"+ as wehen the air system completely dumps. Thanks

Hi I'm Wayne

I will help you with this

the only way to do this is to adjust your leveling valve on the axle

lengthen the rod , but know this will be the height all the time

other then that , no, no other way

I hope this helped you

are you saying that the sir when dumped will go to the bottom each time? I've read on other posts that there is a way to stop the air when dumping - so that i only goes half way, quarter way, etc. Is that not true?

sorry not sir - "air" bad typing

One of the provisions before I bought this coach was to have one of the mechanics bring it over and back it in my garage. He did so and dumped the air partially - but I can not re-produce this.

Hi

Sorry for the delay

you can dump the air, and then switch the air system to off

that will work also , then when out the garage, turn it back on
