Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am going to assist you with this.

Surging is caused by a lean running condition.

If your unit got below 1/4 tank of fuel, you may well have air trapped in the fuel lines.

If the unit is gas, you may have picked up debris that got into the fuel filter and/or carburetor.

If this is a diesel, you may have debris in the filter.

It is a gas unit, what should I do to clear the line of air. I want to do that when I change the filter.

On a gas unit, all you have to do to clear the line is to run the genset. It should only take a minute to clear.

If your genset is equipped with a PRIME feature, use it instead.
