Customer Question

It appears our 1998 Winnebago Brave may have been driven for a while with the parking brake engaged (knob pulled out). Now, when the motorhome is stopped and the transmission is in park, it will roll forward or backwards depending upon the incline. Pulling out on the parking brake knob will not stop it from rolling.
How do I check, and possibly repair, the parking brake mechanism?
Thank you
PS: The AUTO PARK dash light remains on when the parking brake knob is pushed in.

I'm also looking for a service manual for a 1998 Winnebago Brave, model 32WQ

Hi Larry here. I can't help you with the service manual, but I can help you with the parking brake problem, if you still need it. Thanks for the question.
