what is the biggest concern i should have with the damndaybreak 2007 bunker ?
Optional Information: Year: 2007 Make (other): damondaybreakmoterhome
Hi There.....
Do you know what engine it has and is this for sale from a dealer or private owner?
Thanks, Robert
it is a tritan v 10 on consingment at arv dealership
OK
This is good, the workhorse or Chevy chassis this year had several issues, one being the brakes.... The Ford chassis is solid this year, no issue, the only concern is the gas mileage, it is not going to be the best, XXXXX XXXXX you will be towing a vehicle... You might only average 7 or 8 gpm.....
Damon makes a good product if this is the one with the bunks it is a great feature and you do not see that to much. Since the dealer is selling this they should do a PDI. This is a pre-delivery inspection and should cover all interior and chassis items, I would ask them about that. This is done to make sure everything is in top shape when the RV leaves the lot.
I would inspect the roof, make sure the sealant looks good and no cracks or voids are present, the sealant should look clean.
I would also operate all the appliances and have them show you how everything works. Have the fresh water tank filled, run the water pump and check for leaks. A leaky roof or plumbing can be a big repair bill.
This should be a good RV, no known problems unless it had the workhorse chassis.....
IF you have any other questions or concerns please feel free to contact me...
