Hi: Thank you for coming to Just Answer with your question. My name is XXXXX XXXXX perhaps I can assist you with this issue. No 12 VDC to the control panel? If that were so it won't come on either LP or AC modes. When was the last time the LP pressure was adjusted at the tank regulator?
we had just purchased the rv privatly and the refrig was not working but the gas water heater works fine and the furnacealso refrig is on the floor of my garage Le Roy
Then you can test out the cooling unit and see if that is the problem. If the heating element is good you can disconnect it from the control board and hook it up to an old lamp cord or other cord and plug it directly into an outlet. Tape the leads so they don't short out. No polarity issues here. The fridge should just about freeze. Give it about 6 hours. Go and CLICK HERE for a copy of the Service Manual for this model. I would Bookmark this so you can come right back to it again later. If you have a small multimeter we can test the heating element to be sure it is good. That is shown in the manual. Please let me know how the cooling unit tests out and we can go from there. All follow ups are included in our fee. No limit as to time or number of responses needed. Positive Feedback would be greatly appreciated when I have addressed all your concerns here.

i have wired the heater as sugested heats well but no cooland i donot have any lites on the control board , on off temp a/c gas nothing
If the cooling unit is getting hot and it won't cool when hot wired then the cooling unit is bad and it will either need to be rebuilt OR get a new fridge. ATCO America makes the best rebuilt cooling units for these in my view. I have never had one fail and I think they are better than new. Plan on about $450 or so and it takes about 2 hours to change one out.If you are handy with tools this isn't that bad a job. I can guide you through this if you want, but it needs to be a new question. Sorry that news wasn't good, Le Roy..........that happens when these sit too long unused.
