Customer Question

I have a 42' Premier 5th wheel. The long slider (dinning-living room) floor level is about 3/4" lower than the main floor. Can this be ajusted using the bolts in the slots on the outter edge under the slider?

Already Tried:
i never pulled it in but the guy i bought it from used flat bars to lift the leading edge. This works but it takes three extra guys and the trouble remains.

Thank you for using Just Answer, I will quickly, and methodicly work through your repair needs.......Thank you.........Michael hi yes the brackets that attatch the slide to the mechinism are the only adjustment points.......................the adjustment bolts are oblong, however more than once I have had to enlarge the slots to get the adjustment I need................

Customer replied 364 days and 6 hours ago.

The bolts are near center now there appers to be plenty of ajustment. do i lower the back to raise the front or will i need to raise the whole thing on an even plane?

Imagine the slide out as a box,,,,,,,,,this box slides in and out of a square opening...........the only attatchment to it is at the front wall..........this is correct that if you go up the bottom comes out and the top goes in, and visa versa if you go down the top comes out and the bottom goes in........................there is a median point with all peramiters to get the best fit...............
