I just went through a horrendous hailstorm in South Texas. Golfball stuff. It smashed my skylight in the bathroom. I have a 2006 Fleetwood/FEMA 30' trailer that has the crank-up skylight, fan, and bug screen. It measures 13-1/2" square on the inside. Question: is it on a curb, and is that a DIY job? What do I need to replace it, once I find one. I'd venture to say several thousand of them are broken, as there are probably 10,000 RV's in this county alone.

I'll have to climb up there in the morning and take it off. I assume it is on a curb. If so, I'll have to tie a garbage bag around it and thern study the hinge. I can call civilization and hopefully get one overnighted to me if they can match the hinge. I will get a Camco, if that is unbreakable. I assume this is common with hailstorms.
What is a representative price for the skylight dome replacement?
Yes.............and if that is all the damage I think you were very fortunate! The most common is one with no pin and a bendable tab at each end. Go and CLICK HERE for the various styles. The lifetime warranty versions are about $20 more or less. Shop around as the price will vary. Amazon and E-Bay Motors usually have some very competitive sellers. Get back to me if you need help on the actual replacement. It is not that hard.R.J.
