Hi: Thank you for coming to Just Answer with your question. My name is XXXXX XXXXX perhaps I can assist you with this issue.

This can be caused by any number of things. And those questions don't lend themselves easily to this format. I would give a mobile tech a call and have them come out and do some testing and diagnosis for you. The first place to start on any problem like this is the batteries and cables. I would load test them and clean all the connections. R.J.RANDALL41032.6669228819

They are coming out.

I was hoping that you may have a ideal of one item failing to cause the lost of

power located in one area, the steering wheel.

I always start with the batteries and cables..........about 80% of these problems are resolved here. Hopefully, they will load test the batteries and clean or replace any cables with heavy corrosion and clean the ground lead to the chassis. I suspect this is a bad connection or bad batteries. Too many problems to be just one thing. Perhaps the main disconnect solenoid is failing..........lots of things to check and with a multimeter they should be able to track it down pretty quickly.
