I have a 1977GMC motorhome with a 455 engine in it. Can you tell me if you have had any experience with type of vehicle? What should I be looking out for. It has 37ooo miles on it. What shjould I be l;ooking for at this stage. Is this a good vehicle or does it have a lot of potential problems at this stage.ThanksSam

Your most likely problems there are going to be things like seals, carburator and hoses and belts unless the engine has been allowed to sit for a long time without running. You should also make sure the transmission fluid looks and smells good as the seals in the transmission can get hard with age and cause a failure. Remember that all those components are 35 years old.
