Hello,I have a Coleman-Mach Air w/ infarared control. It has stopped work, it work this morning but at some point stopped. intallly evreything was in the on position and the green light on the IR was on but no cold air/no operation. I tried replacing the battery, resetting the breaker, using "different" modes, but no luck. Homever, ever powering down, the infrared sensor (mounted to air intake) had no power. I looked up in the A/C unit and I see a green light flashing in the control box? Any ideas?John

Hi: Thank you for coming to Just Answer with your question. My name is XXXXX XXXXX perhaps I can assist you with this issue. This is usually a low voltage problem. Try disconnecting the ceiling sensor and see if it will reset. Then do the control box. If you still have a problem, have the batteries load tested and checked for shorted cells. This and dirty cable can lead to this sort of issue. Please get back to me if you need more on this. Follow ups are included in our fee. R.J.
Hello Randall,
Yes, I have tired this step. I noticed that up the control box inside the main unit that there is a green light flashing above a label "diaongistics". The IR control on the air intake (marked cool and heat with green and red lights) no longer has power. Is it possible to bypass the control temporarily until I can get in for service next week? I was try to figure out how to wire the unit to run and just use the breaker to turn it on and off.
Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. I am in the process of moving to California and couldn't get any service in the last few days. I should be set up again in my new quarters by Wednesday. Thanks for your patience!I don't think so............and if you disconnected the cables and cleaned them with some electronic spray cleaner and had no luck then it may be the control itself. I should be re-located by Wednesday. I don't have any testing procedure for the control itself. R.J.
