460 Ford: 32 Bounder..Our tow vehicle

Resolved Question:

We have a 32' Bounder with a 460 Ford Engine. Our tow vehicle is a 2000 Jeep
Cherokee Sport which weighs prox. 3600 lbs. Is this too heavy to tow "up hill" i.e. the Sierra's @ 7000 feet?

The Gross vehicle weight rating for your Bounder is approximately 22,000 lbs. The Gross combined vehicle weight rating is 26,000 lbs. This means that you can have 4,000 lbs. for towing. Therefore, you are at the upper limit of tow capacity, but still within specs. Please note that my answer here is based on published specs only, and your owners manual will provide further information. Also, make sure the curb weight of your Jeep is close to what you quoted as 3600lbs.
