Resolved Question:

I have 1995 Terry trailer, with a hydro flame 8500-lll furnace. Turn it on at thermostat and with a short delay the fan comes on. and then about 30 seconds the LP gas detector goes off. The furnace does not light. Where do I start to sovle this problem?

Hi and Welcome, my name is Tim
Do you smell propane in the trailer when the detector goes off?
Customer: replied 6 years ago.
Tim, No I don't. But shortly after the fan stops the detector stops sounding.

Ok, I would say you either have a bad gas valve inside the furnace or more than likely, a burnt out heat exchanger. Either way, do not turn it on again!!! I would suggest you shut the propane off at the bottles just in case.
You will need a RV Tech to look at this and let you know what the problem is. You might be looking at buying a new furnace.
