how do i rewind the spring tension in my slide out awning cover-- just replaced the fabrrick

graphicHi, just for next time, there are holes in the spring that you can put a cotter pin through so you dont have to rewind it...................OK................If this is an A&E slide out cover, you will need to A) Remove 2 screws from long hex rod holding the awning end B) drill rivits from the long hex rod at the awning end C) wind that arm Lft clockwise rt counter clockwise 10 times if room is in 15 times if room is out. NOW with the tension on the spring, locate the hole to retain the wind, and insert pin...........OR place the arm back on the long hex rod, and back into the slide out bracket............repeat on the other side.........MichaelMichael Reush39880.2175393866
