hi i have a renault megane 1.6e cabriolet i drove it for about 50 miles and it was running fine then all of a sudden it lost power and the engine sounded nosey check oil water all fine started up today it ran fine for about 5 mints then lost power againe and making a nosey like it is miss fireing and lost power to the engine when its cold againe it seems to be running fine not for long only till its warm have u got any idea what it could be thanks ray

Hi. These are prone to coil problems. hen they get warm they can cause a mis-fire and poor running. It will need to be check by a mian dealer or renault specialist to confirm, but it certainly sounds like a coil problem. Thanks Darren.
thanks very much for your help will get on to renault to put it on machine i was getting worried thinking it was engine probes this had made me feel better thanks ray
