I have a question about a text message I sent to my ex bf. We were supposed to meet for hangout session and he couldn't meet up due to last minute work and apologized for being stuck. I live in CA and he lives in IL ...I was there for some work purposes and decided to hit him up. Its been 6 months since our breakup and we are on cordial terms. He never received my text msg confirming our meeting for coffee due to connection issues in our services. Anyways, after he apologized for being inflexible and hoped that i wasnt upset... I sent him the following text message and was wondering if it is rude? "I am not upset. No expectations from a first year medical student...its understandable. Next time dont hesitate to text me to ask if I got your message or not...instead of waiting for a week! :) Have a good one!" What do you think?
