What are symptoms of someone who is Narcissistic? How many

This answer was rated:

What are symptoms of someone who is Narcissistic? How many symptoms do you need to be classified this?
A person who is somewhat narcissistic is preoccupied with themselves and predominately has their own self interest as foremost in their life. If what ever is happening is not about them, they are not interested. They have a difficult time seeing the world through another person's eyes. In its more extreme form as a disorder, they want to be recognized as superior or special without any superior accomplishments; they need constant attention and admiration and envy others. They are arrogant in attitude and behavior and lack much empathy for others. They expect to be treated "special" in unrealistic ways. It would take an in person assessment to determine the number of symptoms that would satisfy the definition in the DSM IV TR.
