This goes under three categories: "Wedding", "Etiquette", and "Relationship". Would it be okay to include my sister as a bridesmaid even though we have a rocky relationship? Most people do include siblings.
Dear friend,

You should absolutely include your sister as your bridesmaid for several reasons:

First, you will widen the rift for life by not including her, and make chances of reconciliation much more difficult in future.

Second, you may cause others in your family to be upset with you for not being a bigger person to invite her. She could even get even with you by not coming to the wedding which would widen the family rift.

Third, if you include her as bridesmaid you will be going a long way to narrowing the family rift and will in future know that you did the best thing.

Fourth, you will earn the admiration of other family members who may be quietly speculating on just what you will do. This will make the wedding even more perfect for them.

Fifth, you will be following proper etiquette and that will be to your credit as well.

I wish you a blessed and happy marriage.

Warm regards,
