How Do you rebuild trust in the relationship? How can you truly

This answer was rated:

How Do you rebuild trust in the relationship? How can you truly forgive someone for lying? How can you tell your mate to not be friends with his ex girlfriend and is it right to feel that way? How can you communicate with your mate when he is so negative?
If your mate has ocd how can you be effective but not walk on eggshells?
If you are not comfortable with your mate being friends with his ex-girlfriend, then you need to express that to him, and ask him to put your need to feel that you are his one-and-only above his and/or his exgirlfriend's desires to stay in contact on any regular basis. If he won't do that, then he won't give you what you need in the relationship and you'll need to consider breaking off your relationship. If he also has OCD you're only getting yourself a long-lasting problematic relationship by staying with him anyway. If he's getting treatment then there is hope. If he's not determined to get better by treatment, then you're much better off leaving him unless he does get treatment. You have mentioned 3 strikes against him, and that's quite enough to leave the arena of your relationship with him.
