If it is part of your culture for the groom's parents to give them a honeymoon as a wedding gift, I would give them the 10K. That will give them money for the trip and to get them started. If you're paying for the honeymoon already, I'd suggest 5K in cash. It will give them a cushion for some nice new things and activities.
