I would first mention that most women find "pick up lines" childish or stupid....BUT if you realize that it's corny, and don't take yourself too seriously when you say them, they can get a laugh and thats a good thing. For example, "what's the deal banana peel" may seem very juvenile, but said with a chuckle can be a good conversation opener. Unfortunately any other lines with banana in them would not be appropriate for church, lol.
A couple others
Are you lost? Cause heaven is a long way from here
Are your legs tired? because you've been running through my mind all night
Would you touch me so I can tell my friends I've been touched by an angel
(check her label and say) Just what I thought, made in heaven
If you were words on a page, you would be what they call FINE print
Are you from Tennessee, cause your the only "ten I see"
You look like you're up to no good
Giant Polar Bear (she says "what?") It broke the ice
As far as relating to the desserts directly
If you can make desserts like this, I'd love to taste your cooking
How about we finish these up and "split"
Now that we've had dessert, how about dinner
Most of all be yourself....a nice
Hi, how are you doing tonight?
What other deserts do you make?
Do you cook as well?
What do you think of this idea to meet people?
What's your favorite ice cream flavor?
What do you like on your split?
If they are interested, most of the time they will continue the conversation. Look them in the eye when you speak. Give an honest compliment. Smile. Don't cross your arms. Talk to different people thru out the night....even if there's a particular person your interested in, she should see that you can talk to others and she shouldn't feel like you are holding her hostage at the event. She will be more interested if she sees you interacting with others (not necessarily falling over other women)
I hope this helps, let me know if you want to talk more
