Are you you able to access any other apps (hulu, youtube, etc)?
Okay, so you are either having a connectivity issue that it isn't syncing up to your home wifi network, or there is an internal hardware issue (likely damage as a result of the storm and a subsequent power surge).
Go into the vizio setup menu, under network/wireless: does it show that it is connected to your router/wifi?
