I have just set up a Roku on a Philips TV. Set up went fine

Customer Question

Hi, mike! I have just set up a Roku on a Philips TV. Set up went fine - channels set up ,login and passwords entered for accounts, etc. however, now that I try to stream a movie, all I am getting is the audio and a big pink screen. No video feed, although the images during setup were fine. Suggestions?
Thanks!

Hello, my name is Rusty. What is the model number of your TV?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I was afraid you would ask ... I'm going to have to find the book and get back with you ...

Do you also get the pink screen when Roku isn't connected?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Wait : ) found it -52pfl7403/f7

No this is the first time the pink screen has appeared. I found a other hdmi port when looking for the model number - I am trying that now
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Success!! The hdmi port on the back worked but the ones on the side did not.
Expert:  Rusty replied 1 year ago.

That's great! HDMI runs at different speeds, so for Blu-ray and HD, use the back port. The ones on the side are for temporary connections, so the back ones are more reliable. I checked your specs, you're good with 1080P on that display.

Thanks! I didn't realize there were any back there : )
