HAVE TOSHIBA DVD VIDEO RECORDER/VIDEO CASSETTE RECORDER ( DVR620 KU).
WHEN TRYING TO PLAY DISC OR TAPE PICTURE HAS YELLOW TINT .IS IT REPAIRABLE ---IF NOT HOW CAN I FIND A REPLACEMENT SINCE THIS MODEL IS LISTED AS DISCONTINUED ? WALTER MAY ***@******.***

Hello, Do any other sources played back on the TV show a yellow tint?

Have you also tried replacing the AV cables between the recorder and the TV?

If not, that would be your first step- since the cabling could be a root cause of the problem.

Additionally, if any other source on the TV (cable/sat box, etc.) displays with a yellow tint- then it's not the Toshiba that's the root cause- it is the TV itself.

However if you've already checked those things and have narrowed the issue down to the Toshiba itself, then the recorder would require repairs or replacement.

Given the cost of repairs (to replace the mainboard) is going to be in the $150 range- and you can purchase a CURRENTLY available Toshiba DVD/VCR unit for around $120 (at the link below), it would make more sense to replace the unit versus repairing it.
