I have a DMP-BD60. When the blu-ray disc is entered, the message 'No Disc' is displayed. Please advise.
If you put a standard non blueray disk in does it read this?
Yes. The same message 'NO DISC' is displayed for non blu-ray discs
There are only 2 things that commonly cause this. One is the laser lens has become dirty and can not read the disk. You can buy a laser cleaner disk and try running it and see if it helps. If you do this and still have this error then the laser lens has burnt out and the drive would need to be replaced as the laser lens is a component of the drive and is not replaceabl by itself. Try the cleaner first.
