I have a Crosley Radio and the CD door does not open but does make a sound like is is trying to open. What do I do?
Optional Information: Make: Crosley Model: CR248 Already Tried: Just turning it on in phono and in cd mode and press open and close button. I even tried using the remote.
Hello - these units CD's have internal mechanical issues at times. You can first try
Try checking these:The problem *may* be the plastic pulley on the motor is loose on the shaft of the motor - please dis assemble unit and check for ANY mechanical obstructions -- you can also "lightly" manually try to slide the tray OUT and this will reset IF it is not completely broken, please advise
