What type of cables are you trying to connect the unit to the TV with (Red, White and Yellow RCA cables)?

Can you explain what you're referencing when you say "NUMDER4 CAN SET TO 3"?

Customer replied 353 days and 3 hours ago.

THE TV IS SET UP FOR 3 AND THE DVD IS SET FOR 4 AND I GUESS THEY NEED TO BE 3. I DO NOT KNOW.

Okay, make sure the cables are plugged into the same colored jacks on the back of the TV, and use the "Input" button on the TV and press until you see Video 1, or AV 1 come up on the corner of the screen. This is what you'll need to set the TV on in order to view the DVD.
