I lost my Sansa View for about a year. WHen I found it the battery was totally dead. I recharged it to 100%. Now when I turn it on it goes to a white screen and will not go to the menu screen. Is there anyway to fix it?

The White screen is a common problem with Sandisk's Sansa.
Some users have reported that updating the Sansa's firmware did help.
Please visit the following website and click on "Firmware Update":

I still need assistance.
The first thing I recommend you do is get a new battery for it. After that period of time and the battery going completely dead there is a very good chance that even though it shows as 100% it is actually not and without the maximum voltage the camera will not work. There could also be nternal problems but until you put a new battery to it I would not go in that direction.
