Customer Question

I had to give a 60 day notice to my landlord that I was moving. I changed my mind. The landlord said the apartment had already been rented by someone. But the apartment is still being advertised as available for rent on Craigslist 11 days of my asking.
JA: Because laws vary from place to place, can you tell me what state the property is in?
Customer: Virginia
JA: Has any paperwork been filed?
Customer: What type of paperwork?
JA: Anything else you want the lawyer to know before I connect you?
Customer: yes on craigslist the landlord had three different listings for this aprtment complex

Is there a written lease in effect? Does the lease provide for the 60 day notice?
