If the other side did not appear at the presentation of

If the other side did not appear at the presentation of judgement and did not sign the judgement and the judge wrote on it failed to appear, does that mean they forfeited their rights in the judgement?

It generally means they waived the right to object or raise defenses. You would still be responsible for proving a cause of action and your damages but you can usually do that by your testimony.

The trial was finished and order given for the other side to write a judgement and at the presentation of judgement hearing a third party who was pro se did not show up to sign the judgement

There is no requirement that the partiers sign the judgment. If they don't show up the judge can just sign it.
