My husband and I own a rental unit in Brevard County Florida

Customer Question

My husband and I own a rental unit in Brevard County Florida that was damaged by hurricane Matthew. The tenants lease expired back in February so we are on a month-to-month. I am wondering if we can ask the tenant to move out while repairs are made if we give her 30 days notice etc. I have been advised by friends to do so. I am looking as to what my legal all liabilities are in this regard

Are you able to make the repairs with them present? Do you want them to stay as tenant?
