Good evening. I just bought a house in June of this year. The neighboring landlord claims that the previous owner of my home had cut down trees that caused the slope between our properties to become unstable.
JA: Because real estate law varies from place to place, can you tell me what state this is in?
Customer: Thank you. Washington State, in the city of Tukwila....
JA: Has anything been filed or reported?
Customer: She sent me a letter, citing the removal of trees (very sketchy reasoning I might add) and after I responded, she sent me a proposal for a retaining wall of sorts to be built. It would involve 30 foot pylons driven into the earth. I am completely content with the hill as it is.
