I am divorced and missed the dead line to have the loan on

Customer Question

Good morning, I am divorced and missed the dead line to have the loan on the house I live in refinanced into my name. About 20 years ago my ex had my name removed from the deed. The loan on the house is still upside down, and he has recently remarried. If he was to quit claim my name back to the deed, will I be able to keep the house if, god forbid, something should happen to him.
