We have tenants who are not paying rent. The house is in Minnesota. Do we have to go to Minnesota to legally evict them?

Good afternoon. Yes, you do. The court and county where the rental property is located, would have jurisdiction over the matter and where this needs to be heard. If they are not paying their rent, you would need to give them the proper notice to cure and if they fail to do so, could proceed with the eviction. If you live in Colorado and the rental is in Minnesota, you can always consider retaining legal counsel to handle the eviction for you and then going after the tenant to pay your legal fees, as well.
