I moved out on May 31st, least expired June 1. My question

Customer Question

I moved out on May 31st, least expired June 1. My question is this, does the security deposit have to be in my hands before the 14 day, excluding holidays and Sat and Sun or does it just have to be mailed within the 14 days?

The way the statute reads, if the letter is postmarked by day 14 it is in compliance as it has been "provided".
