The only viable appeal to eviction is proof that the landlord has no legal basis for the eviction (such as evicting for non-payment of rent and proving rent was paid or was legally being withheld for breach of the lease) or that improper notice was provided to the tenant. Absent one of those reasons, her committing herself is not good cause to stop a legal eviction.
