I paid $1200 dollars as a deposit to retain a rental that I was interested in renting, but a deal fell through and my daughter didn't get the job she thought and now with my salary alone t is almost impossible to afford. However, when I requested my deposit back was told no and that it was nonrefundable even no lease documents have been signed yet. What can I do????
