Customer Question

Hi, My boyfriend and I bought a house together. I was the primary signer on the house. I filed bankruptcy about 10 years ago. We continued to make the house payments, he did not file bankruptcy. I did not reaffirm the mortgage. We want to move, houses are not selling on my street and we owe more than it's worth. My question is if we walk away, can they legally go after Mike, or is the house completely under the bankruptcy?

Good morning. Was he on the mortgage and note as well as the deed?

I think so. Would I have to call Wells fargo to be sure? However, his credit report does not show that he has been making the payments all these years.

On the account profile, it says Mike is a co-borrower.
