Customer Question

I live in a gated community in Florida. It is my understanding that I can be held responsible for the actions of an invited guest.
Examples:
If a guest causes an accident while driving to my home, I can be held responsible
If a guest violates an HOA policy/rule, I can be fined. Guest is caught speeding and the HOA claims they can fine me $100.
Is this true?
Thanks
