Yes the lender will probably require tit.They may let the spouse sign a a disclaimer of interest here and allow them to waive off.Otherwise they may require them on the deed and the note as well if they want the protection. It is pretty standard that they want the spouse on everything, it is too t heir advantage here in Ohio since you are currently married.
