Can a town condemn property on a neighboring town?

Customer Question

Can a town condemn property on a neighboring town?

Hello, I am happy to assist you today.

There would be no jurisdiction for a town to condemn property that is not located in that specific town. This sounds like a bizarre situation. Are you sure it is the town condemning it and not the state?

Hi there,

I see that your question is still open. The town can not condemn a property located in another town.

I need to close out the questions that I answered from last week, so that I get paid for my work. This is my sole means of income. Also, if you do not close the question and provide feedback of 4 or 5 the system may keep your money.

Thank you and take care!

Kim
