My mother passed away in oct and her tenant called me oct 27

Customer Question

my mother passed away in oct and her tenant called me oct 27 about my mother passing way. i told her on the phone in oct that as long as i was down there in Florida she had a home but when i leave she needed to be out. i talked to my probate attorney and he said my mother left me everything. the tenant knew she needed to be out by nov. 13 but asked for one more week. which i said ok. now my mothers property is starting to start the closing process Nov. 20. and she wont leave. i asked her many times during my two weeks stay (Oct.31 to Nov. 13) to let me see the copy of the lease agreement in which she never did and now she says she can produce one.
what should be my course of action.

Hello and welcome! My name is ***** ***** I will try my level best to help with your situation or get you to someone who can.

.

I need to ask a few questions before I comment....

.

Is mother's estate going through probate?

.

Are you the executor of the will for her estate?

.

If so, have you given the tenant any written notice to terminate her tenancy?

.

Are you saying the property has been sold to a new owner?.

.

.

thanks
