I am looking for a NJ lawyer to answer this question. I wanted to know, if based on the basic rule of 70/30 for splitting a business with a spouse would that apply to the building where the business is held as well?

Yes, if the property is held by the business corporation, all of the assets of the corporation would be split in the same fashion.
