Customer Question

We have serious problem because we have believed we were building on our property since. 1958 and were informed March 27, 2015 that we have been encroaching. We need a local Lawyer and wonder if we should chose a large firm or small local lawyer. We have
put a lot of hours, money and time into land plus have paid taxes all these years. We believe we have a strong case but need experienced help.

Thank you for your question and thank you kindly for requesting me to assist you with your concerns.

A large firm will have more resources to devote to this, but will likely be more expensive. A small local lawyer can be overwhelmed and overworked, or might not have enough requisite experience to be able to get this resolved. On the other hand a small lawyer, if motivated, can be your best zealous advocate especially is skilled, or hungry, or itching to prove himself or herself. A happy compromise may be a 'boutique' firm of up to 10-15 attorneys who specialize solely in real estate cases. Those are well trained and have the resources to help.

Sincerely,

Dimitry, Esq.
