How do i keep an easement when selling a property . The easement is a standard oil easement that might have value someday. It isnt useable with the property im selling.

When you write the deed and contract for sale, the easement rights would be reserved in those contracts. Once it is agreed upon and written into the deed, the easement becomes permanent running with the land and you would have your rights recorded with the deed.
